*Please note that we have not reviewed every single resource at the above sites. Some of the videos approach the mathematics by simply showing the algorithm and do not support the best instructional practices in mathematics. The Michigan Mathematics and Science Centers Network (MMSCN) supports mathematics that helps students do the following:
- Make sense of problems and persevere in solving them.
- Reason abstractly and quantitatively.
- Construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others.
- Model with mathematics.
- Use appropriate tools strategically.
- Attend to precision.
- Look for and make use of structure.
- Look for and express regularity in repeated reasoning.
